Featuring a cast of 12 local actors, ranging in ages from 18 to 70 plus, BTC’s Little Shop of Horrors is a futuristic take on a kitsch 60’s musical classic.
LSOH Director Kate Foster said, “Bangalow Theatre Company’s Little Shop of Horrors offers a fresh and modern
take on musical classic. BTC has used the show’s architypesand themes to explore some of the real life horrors facing not only contemporary American society but the world as a whole. But in true musical style there is plenty of singing,
dancing and silliness plus a huge alien plant thirsting for human blood!”
BTC co-founder Anouska Gammon continues, “The cast have been rehearsing well. The show demands many three part harmonies so vocally this is really testing our performers. It is so wonderful to see their skills improving, and their confidence growing. Their hard work is paying off as we ramp up to production time – they are sounding electric!”
