Lisa (Mitchell) Likes… BYRON BAY!

Whilst Lisa Mitchell was in Byron Bay recently for her SOLDOUT show at the Community Centre, we asked Lisa if she would do her “Like Likes List” of Byron Bay. She of course said yes, in her sweet and polite manner, and this is the result – Live pic by Mikey Andersson.

We will let Lisa take it from here in her own words…

– WATEGOS BEACH
Friends and sun and happy Lisa!

– BAREFOOT BREW ROOM – facebook.com/barefootbrewroom
I was drawn to this little coffee nook because, well, I’ll be honest, it looked like Melbourne and I was getting a little homesick! There’s only so much sun a fair celtic-skinned lass like me can take! Rodney makes a mean coffee and he was so kind and agreed to give me a quick barista lesson…!!
There is a great little second-hand bookstore off the main street. I found this book to feed my Disney and animation addiction.

– THE CONSCIOUS CAFE – consciouscafe.com.au
I was eager to visit the Conscious Cafe after hearing about it from Sarah Wilson and various other healthy-life-style advocates! Elisha opened this beautiful sanctuary of a cafe with a passion to make healthy ‘live’ food readily available to the people of Byron Bay – and, BOY, is it DELICIOUS! I would like a teleport for Christmas, please.

– KOMBI’S
There’s no shortage of beautiful old Volkswagen Kombi-Vans in Byron! I love this one, owned by local, Ash and appropriately named, Jack Scarlet.

– HARVEST CAFE, Newrybar – harvestcafe.com.au
Wow, this little institution was a welcome find out in the sticks behind Byron Bay! Incredible Coffee!

I do like a good flat white, if you havn’t guessed by now. I love the Avocado Toast here! For more of what Lisa Mitchell “Likes” – lisaslikelist.com.au
