Home Community People BROOK’S BYRON EYES

So it’s been just over two months living in Byron Bay now, and things are good.  The bay has come to life today and the forecast for the surf looks pretty good for the Christmas period.

Moving now from November to December, warm to hot, from busy to a daily circus around town; these are some random shots from the past month.  Hope you enjoy.

Words & Images: with thanks to Brook Mitchell

I'm a photographer from Melbourne who's just landed in Byron via Sydney and a few years of homeless wandering. While abroad I shoot images for various travel related photo libraries and publications. Self taught with a passion for simple, strong compositions of what I see and the people I meet along the way. Hopefully my work helps inspire people to get and see more of the planet, and to do it with a camera. I've currently no interest in making a living any other way. Loving life in Byron so far.
