This morning I was broken.

Shipwrecked upon an empty beach as the clock struck 6am.

Through the clouds that have been so thick, the sunshine allowed the seagulls to set sail. Footprints washed away as the tide began to rise, while a couple walked hand-in-hand.

Watching in the distance as Cape Byron awoke from it’s morning haze, a stiff South-Easterley wind keep’s the crowds at bay, and the grey slip-slides away.

If your about this weekend in Byron Bay, the Worldwide Day of Action for the Dolphins of Taiji is on at Main Beach, Saturday (10am). There’s also a gig for the kids Beau Young and Animals Rock are putting on for Saturday at Ewingsdale Hall (1pm).

A good weekend to all!
